David Edmundson made several remarks about Steam Deck in a speech at the Academy 2022 conference. During the talk (at 29:45 in the video), Edmundson announced that Steam Deck’s sales exceeded one million units. Edmundson: “PC handheld console sales have exceeded one million units and are still being ordered,” Edmundson said.
Steam Deck is 7 inch, 1280×800 resolution, 60hz LCD screen. A quad-core AMD, Zen 2 CPU has eight threads. It also houses eight CUs (compute units) connected to an RDNA2 GPU and has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In addition, Bluetooth support is included. You can connect it to any PC, keyboard, and mouse.
