Resident Evil 1 (1996) and Resident Evil: The developer behind the expected adaptations of Code Veronica (2000) announced that both projects through Twitter were officially cancelled by “Capcom”.
The aim behind Remake projects was to redesign the old-style games with better graphics and a more modern third-person shooter perspective, as Capcom made in Resident Evil 2 and 3 re-making. An admirer developer called Briins began to make the remake of these games (new-made) version.
This project was in the development phase for some time and long videos were available showing while working in Yutube. However Briins confirmed that Capcom wanted to close the project. As YouTuber Biohazard is broadcast by Declassified, Briins noted that in the official Discord channels, Capcom’s developer has communicated with their own through a few email asking where the models of the game.
After several interviews, Briins said, “We received another email that asked us to cancel the project from another department ofCapcom and delete the web page immediately.”
Code Veronica and Resident Evil fan remakes are promising by Capcom.
Wedding for the locks and disappointment. All info on the developer discord. Thank you.
