Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 2 Remake has managed to sell more than 10 million copies worldwide so far. The game’s arrival at this major milestone comes just a month after the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions.
In the report published in April, the sales figure of Resident Evil 2 Remake was announced as 9.6 million as of March 31.
The release of a next-generation version of the game has fueled sales across all platforms, and Capcom says sales are going pretty well, both digitally and boxed. On top of that, there’s Resident Evil: biohazard, which is now being released on Netflix, and the reviews are pretty good for now. This is expected to make a positive contribution to the sales of the Resident Evil series in general.
