Capcom has announced that the remake of Resident Evil 3 has surpassed five million sales worldwide. Resident Evil 3 was released for PC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on April 3, 2020.
Resident Evil 3 remake includes high-resolution graphics and modernized gameplay mechanics, just like resident evil 2 remake.
The game takes place during the horrific outbreak of the T-virus, developed by pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation as a biological weapon, in Raccoon City. The players are trying to deal with the epidemic and Nemesis as Jill Valentine, a member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service team.
Resident Evil 3 remake also includes Project Resistance, an asymmetrical co-op survival horror experience developed by NeoBards Entertainment as a multiplayer mode.
