Resident Evil 4 is no longer a platform or version. Now Resident Evil 4 vr mercenaries mode. Resident Evil 4 VR was announced earlier this year and released on October 21, 2021.

Capcom announced with a video that the Mercenaries mode, which has been beloved by gamers since Resident Evil 3, will be released for Resident Evil 4 VR in 2022.

Mercenaries mode is a mode based simply on players racing against time and killing as many enemies as they can before the deadline. Resident Evil 4 VR’s inclusion in Mercenaries mode wasn’t originally planned, but Capcom seems to have changed its mind. Oculus also announced that changes to improve comfort of use – improved left-handed use and easier character use – will be added to VR mode over the next year.
