Capcom and Netflix have announced that the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness CGI will be released on Netflix on July 8.
About the series:
It will take place in 2006, a few years after the events of Resident Evil 4. Among those tasked with investigating the breach of classified information at the White House is Leon S. Kennedy, and when the lights go out, Leon and the SWAT team will have to defeat the zombie swarm.
TerraSave staff member Claire Redfield comes across a mysterious picture of a young boy in the country he visits to provide support to refugees, which appears to be a viral infection, and begins to investigate. Claire visits the White House the next day to request a welfare facility, where she meets Leon. Leon thinks there’s a connection between this image of the boy and the zombie epidemic, but he tells Claire otherwise. Meanwhile, the epidemic began to cause events that shook the country.
