We were surprised by a tweet shared by Gematsu. The Google Stadia version of the PvP game Resident Evil Re:Verse, scheduled to come with Residen Evil:Village, was rated by the European rating board PEGI.
The game was first announced in January last year and postponed until the summer of 2021 exactly three months after that. Two months after the original intended release date, Capcom said that “the team will continue to work to provide a seamless gaming experience”, and the game has been moved to 2022.
Resident Evil Re:Verse may be available soon
If the game’s developer is on Capcom’s side, a relatively finished version of PEGI must be submitted to the board for a game rating, although no release year has been approved for this production. So in short, even if it’s not the final version, there’s a game test that’s already completed, so it’s not expected to take long for production to come out.
The PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC version was already rated exactly one year ago, on May 7. But that was the release date of Resident Evil: Village. Because Re:Verse was originally designed as a multiplayer mode in RE:Village.
Until capcom’s official announcement, these developments will remain only a rumor, but the ratings process shows that at least some progress has been made in Re:Verse. The developer had announced that updates and developments would be shared at a later date, but capcom has so far not commented on the game.
