Downloads will be available from Monday, April 5, and players will be able to try the game until April 11th. Re: ReVerse is an online-only game that Capcom released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. It will also be given free of charge with the main game to users who buy Resident Evil Village. Players who purchase the PS5 or XSX version of Re:Village will get the PS4 or Xbox One version of ReVerse for free.
In the game we will be able to control various Resident Evil characters in a death match for six people. As we saw in the images that emerged in January, the main goal of the players is to collect virus samples scattered throughout certain areas of the map. Of course, in doing so, the opposing team will have the main enemies of the series and try to kill them.
After players are killed, they switch to the opposing team, transforming into various creatures and being able to continue attacking other players. Resident Evil ReVerse seems to offer both a tense and enjoyable gaming experience. The type of monster you’ll turn into when you die will vary based on how many virus samples you collect before you die. Which suggests that you should actually prepare yourself well for the posthumous slaughter.
Each character has its own weapons and skills. The game’s graphics filters will also be interchangeable, allowing players to see realistic visuals while those who wish will be able to play with comic book-style graphics. You will be able to participate in the Resident Evil ReVerse open beta on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam). Resident Evil Village will also be released on May 7, 2021.
