An in-game image of the Resident Evil Village map has been released. On a wooden table, there is a scroll on the map in a golden frame. The eighth game in CAPCOM’s Resident Evil series developed with RE Engine has released an extensive map image from Resident Evil Village. We see a scroll above the map image shared by IGN. The map in the frame shows points/regions such as Heisenberg’s Factory, Castle Dimitresu, House Beneviento and Moreau’s Reservoir. There’s been an image of the map that’s not so clear before, but now a lot of things are clear.
With the latest developments, we see that the new game has a lot in common with Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4, released in 2005, offered new enemies, items for each area and showed us players more than just a village. It is understood resident evil village will be built by sticking to the basic components of the 2005 classic. Morimasa Sato, one of the familiar names in the Resident Evil series, says: “When you hear the word village, you think of strange houses lined up along a street, but that’s not really enough to make a video game.”
It was also recently announced that Resident Evil Village will have Ray Tracing and FidelityFX on PC. In addition, he had revealed the first PC game footage showing some Ray Tracing scenes from it.

Resident Evil Village story
