Capcom announced that resident evil village’s worldwide distribution of boxed versions and sales of digital versions totaled more than three million units.
Resident Evil Village, the eighth major sequel in the Resident Evil series, debuted on May 7 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
The previous game in the series, Resident Evil 7: biohazard, sold 2.5 million in the same period. It’s now 8.5 million.
The total sales of all games in the Resident Evil series are over 100 million.
