The horror game Resident Evil 7 still has a very interested player base even though it has been almost five years since its release. The game, which can only be played in VR on PlayStation 4 console, now Resident Evil VR mode developed by Praydog gives PC players this opportunity. It is known that the mode can also be used for Resident Evil: Village, which came out last year.
Resident Evil VR mode arouses great interest in PC gamers
The unofficial VR game mode developed by the modder Praydog for Resident Evil 2 and 3 before the 7th edition of the series, as expected in the past days. And it was expanded to include their 8th game. Among the information accessible from the modist’s Github page, it is pointed out that the mod is not yet completely finished.
Another reason why the mode has been met with great interest among the players is that it has VRIK feature that gives you control over a full character, not just over the hands flying in the air like in PSVR. The mode 6DoF, which also has mobile control support, also allows the user to move around the room in all directions. So the mode works quite harmoniously with the game. When you raise your hand on your face, you protect yourself in the game against attacks. You heal your character by running the medicine bottle over your shoulders and head.
The mode, which has some more problems, will be free and will be maintained as an open source project. While the new version is only playable by a few publishers yet, it is possible to download and play VR mode for Resident Evil 2 and 3. The mode is also expected to be released for Resident Evil 7 and Village in the coming weeks.
