Respawn announced that it has stopped selling the game and will remove it from its subscription services as of March 1, 2022, unable to withstand the DDoS attacks and hacks that have rendered Titanfall unplayable in places.
In fact, Respawn had intended to solve these issues at one point, and after negative reviews of the game over the past two years, he sent a message in April that “help is coming,” but by mid-July we had learned that the number of employees in the Titanfall support section had not exceeded the fingers of one hand because they were focused on Apex Legends. Respawn, who did not want the titanfall name to be further defamed, found the remedy to pull the game from sale.
Respawn says the game servers will remain open for now, but considering that a maximum of 7 people have played the game in the last 24 hours, they will also give up the cost of keeping the servers open after a while.
Respawn nevertheless made sure to inform fans of the series that he would not give up the name Titanfall, saying that “Titanfall is in our DNA and this incredible universe will continue.”
