If you remember, it all started at Riot Games’ 10th anniversary celebrations. The developer stunned us all with his successive projects. Since then, games such as Valorant, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story have been released. However, we could not get clear information about the fight game codenamed Project L, which attracted the attention of all of us during the presentation.
After a long break, we received new details about the project. In the update video released by Riot on its own channel, Project L;s chief director Tom Cannon officially announced that the game will be completely free. Underlining that the studio has always produced “accessible to everyone” games, the director stated that they will continue this tradition.
While Cannon hasn’t mentioned other details about the project, that means the game will have microtransactions. On the other hand, we are eagerly waiting for what kind of planning will be made in a fighting game. It’s hard to predict whether the characters-specific cosmetics will come from the LoL universe or be reproduced. Let’s see what we can learn about the game in the coming days.
