Riot Games announced that the third week of the 2022 EMEA Valorant Champions Tour has been postponed due to russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Dot According to Esports, several Russian and Ukrainian players are among the teams competing in the tournament, including Gambit, Natus Vincere, FunPlus Phoenix and Acend.
In a message posted on Twitter via the tournament’s official account, Riot Games said: “After careful consideration, VCT EMEA 3. We’ve decided to postpone the week games. The wellbeing of our community is inseparable to us and is now our number one priority.
“We will update the new program as soon as possible. In the meantime, please follow our social channels for more updates.”
