Publisher Arc System Works and developer WayForward announced River City Girls 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam). In addition, Limited Run Games will also produce a physical version. The game will debut in 2022.
River City Girls 2, which tells the story shortly after the original, gives the actors control of Misako and Kyoko, as well as Kunio, Riki and other characters. New moves, new enemies, new soldiers, new environments and the return of an old enemy await fans with the same extravagant sense of humor. The game will also include two-player co-op action both locally and online.
