Rocket Panda Games has announced that it has purchased the rights to its 2D fighting game beat ’em series Phantom Breaker from the MAGES team. The first game in the Phantom Breaker series was released on the Xbox 360 in Japan on June 2, 2011. Since then, several side games have also been made available to fans.
Rocket Panda Games released the newest game in the series, Phantom Breaker: Omnia, for PC on March 15 via PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam.
The company has announced plans to explore new projects to have more IPs. Rocket Panda Games’ M. Panda said in a press release: “Today is a new start in the Phantom Breaker series. We couldn’t be more excited than that. We go back a long way with producer Masaki Sakar.
We have a great relationship with MAGES. We want the series to be revived.”
