In November 2021, Oops Leaks leaked the logo and name of BioShock 4. Following these leaks, new rumors and details recently emerged. Rumours include that 2K Games has restructured the studio, which is currently working on BioShock 4.
According to the leak, the development studio lost about 40 employees. However, this did not cause any disruptions in the development of the game. The problem is that 2K Games is not satisfied with the current progress and speed of the project.
BioShock 4 (also known as BioShock Isolation) could be postponed until 2024 due to problems such as the studio losing employees and 2K Games not being satisfied with certain issues of the project.
BioShock Isolation will use Unreal Engine 5, as leaked by Oops Leaks previously. 2K Games planned to officially announce the game in the first quarter of 2022. However, due to these issues, the official announcement of the game may also be delayed.
New Bioshock has development issues. The company lost about 40 employees, including leads. According to my info, 2K is not satisfied with the project’s results and pace. However, judging by T2’s recent financial report, the game is still planned to be released by the end of 2024.
