ESA has canceled its face-to-face event for E3 2022, according to a statement shared with IGN by ESA.
“Due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of participants, E3 will not be held in person in 2022,” ESA said in a statement sent to IGN. “We are incredibly excited about the future of E3 and look forward to revealing more details soon.”
This means that the date of E3 2022 is currently uncertain. In addition, the ESA added that it is currently unable to confirm whether there will be a digital event instead of a physical event this year, as it did in 2021.
