According to a VGC report, Konami is developing a remake of the Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill series.
The first of these remakes will reportedly be castlevania. Sources say the remake is currently under development with the support of Japanese studios. The remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is also reportedly being developed by Singapore-based studio Virtuos.
Eurogamerconfirmed this report. He said Konami had been pondering a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for some time.
VGC reported that multiple Silent Hill games are being developed in various external development studios. One of them was outsourced to a leading Japanese developer earlier this year.
Finally, Gematsu announced that a new Silent Hill game is under development by a leading Japanese developer. Kojima Productions itself is the studio that requested anonymity and said the game was funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment, according to the report.
