Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan confirmed earlier this year that PlayStation’s next-generation virtual reality headset will be called The PlayStation VR2, and last week announced the design of the headset. However, the other important detail that Sony has not yet announced is the release date of the PlayStation VR2.
YouTube channel PSVR Without Parole, which leaked details about PSVR2, claims that the next generation VR headset will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
The YouTube channel says the ongoing shortage will affect the headline’s stock. Therefore, it declares that it will not be released in 2022 in order to have sufficient stock.
