Several claims have been made about the remake of the PlayStation 3 classic The Last of Us. According to the claims made, the Remake version will be released in the second half of 2022. Tom Henderson, known for his leaks, and the VGC site also support these claims.
Although not officially announced by Sony, news of the remake of The Last of Us was revealed by Jason Schreier last year in a Bloomberg report. Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann said Sony was looking forward to sharing all the games the team made during the CES 2022 conference. Remake will reportedly be among the games to be shared. It is rumoured that the remake version will come to the PC platform besides PS5.
Henderson also says naughty dog’s long-awaited independent multiplayer project (described as The Last of Us Factions) is nearing completion and will be released this year.
