Sony Interactive Entertainment, Aspyr Media and Lucasfilm Games announced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake in September of last year. Sony has reported that this game is a complete remake.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier made various statements about this remake and reported that this release was postponed indefinitely (it is not clear how long it was postponed). In addition, developer Aspyr Media fired the game’s art director and design director earlier this month. After this process, the development of the remake version was reportedly paused.
The Remake version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been in development for about three years. Aspyr had submitted a demo on June 30 to show the game’s progress to partners at LucasFilm and Sony.
Of course, this postponement is just a rumor at the moment. So far, no official statement has been made.
