Rusty Lake;in Rusty Lake and Cube Escape are among the best adventure games you can seriously play. Cube Escape was actually a “room escape” kind of game series, but the mysterious story and style it told was so ensplayed that a lot of sequels came along, and we met what I might call a side game called Rusty Lake, but which somehow perpetuates the story.
Rusty Lake Hotel is a completely independent game, so you don’t have to have played previous games to understand its story. But the characters you see here are in other games in some way.
Rusty Lake is available for free on Steam until May 1 as part of its 6th anniversary celebrations. In addition, the new update introduced 18 new language support (including Turkish), Steam achievements, Full screen play, etc.
I’m sure that after you play this game, you’ll be curious about Rusty Lake’s other games, and then you’ll see how they’re sold at cheap prices (like the Cube Escape Collection with 9 chapters in it) and add it all to your library.
For those of you who are curious, let me add the order in which you play the games, and if you play it this way, you will be more familiar with the story:
- Cube Escape: Seasons
- Cube Escape: The Lake
- Cube Escape: Arles
- Cube Escape: Harvey;s Box
- Cube Escape: Case 23
- Cube Escape: The Mill
- Rusty Lake Hotel
- Cube Escape: Birthday

- Rusty Lake: Roots
- Cube Escape: The Cave
- Rusty Lake Paradise
