The second leg of the PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI) tournament, which is the scene of breathtaking struggles of PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, has been completed. After the Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats team, which competed in the main tournament and won a prize of 1.3 million TL as the seventh, another great success came from S2G Esports.
The PMWI Afterparty Showdown tournament was played offline in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from 18 to 20 August with the participation of 12 teams from all over the world. In addition to the top five teams in the PMWI Main tournament, seven teams, including S2G Esports, were determined by fan votes within the PUBG MOBILE game.
Our representative S2G Esports, who participated in the tournament from the European region with a total prize pool of $ 1 million, also qualified to participate in the tournament as the second team with the most votes and made our country proud before the tournament started with more than 327 thousand votes.
S2G Esports, the Turkish representative who took the stage at PMWI Afterparty Showdown and managed to rank 4th in the three major major tournaments (PMGC, PMPL, PMPL EU), completed the tournament in 4th place and completed the last championship with a prize exceeding 116 thousand dollars, that is, 2.1 million TL.
