Koch Media changes name to Plaion
When we introduce it as Koch Media, it may be a bit up in the air, but with Saints Row’s game coming out in 2022, the company is also publishing some anticipated games such as Payday 3, Scars Above, Crossfire: Legion. At the same time, the same company has published some popular games such as System Shock and Metro Exodus in the past.
The company will have a new logo along with its name. The new design, which resembles a play button, is described in the announcement as follows:
“Along with the new name, the new logo representing the interactive play button includes the abstract letter ‘P’ representing our new name, and a banner symbolizing our binding role and leadership in the digital entertainment ecosystem.”
CEO Klemens Kundratitz, one of the company’s co-founders, said: “For more than 28 years we have forged very strong ties and partnerships with some of the industry’s best-known and well-known names. Since joining the Embracer Group in 2018, our growth has accelerated and diversified.” “As we continue our expansion around the world, we have chosen our new name to better depict who we are and the journey we are embarking on, to reflect the evolving nature of our business not only in terms of content, but also in terms of geography,” he added.
Koch Media and its subsidiaries will now use the Plaion name worldwide.
