Master director Sam Raimi, who returned to comic book films with Doctor Strange 2, is currently in the focus of criticism. Although Multiverse of Madness makes faces smile in terms of box office, it is subjected to a serious bombardment in terms of criticism. The second Doctor Strange, one of four MCU films that didn’t get a fresh grade from Rotten Tomatoes, didn’t discourage Raimi from comic book adaptations.
Since the Raimi-MCU collaboration was announced, we were naturally all thinking about a potential Spider-Man movie. But Raimi nicely explained why this would not be true. “I love Spider-Man. I love Tom Holland in this role as well. But if I were to make a Spider-Man movie, it would probably be with Tobey or he’d stick to my collar!” Raimi also reiterated his great love for Tobey Maguire.
Sam Raimi, who says he likes the Disney-style trilogy directed by Jon Watts, is still not closing the doors to a new Spider-Man movie. Raimi, who is on the agenda to continue his old trilogy for Sony, said: “I don’t have any plans for Spider-Man 4 at the moment. They have already done very successful things with this new Spider-Man series. I don’t know if I’ll have my own fourth film. I’m not going after that.” Said.

The fan base in the middle has already been running after such a dream for a very long time instead of Sam Raimi. With No Way Home and later Multiverse of Madness, the universes are intertwined, and Sony’s Spider-Man movie, starring Tobey Maguire as the savior, may sound like medicine. Or maybe it’s a childhood dream of mine, I don’t know. All I know is that there aren’t any new Sam Raimi comic book adaptations going forward.
