In a post on Twitter, God of War developer Sony Santa Monica urged fans not to engage in toxic behavior and to be respectful of others.
A Twitter post from Sony Santa Monica reads: “Every single person at Santa Monica Studio is working to create a game we’re proud of and enjoy playing after launch.
Our fans inspire us and we understand your desire to learn more about Ragnarök. But this passion should not turn into toxic behaviors and should not harm the dignity of any human being.
As a community, we have to show respect for the games, the developers and each other.”
This post, shared by Sony Santa Monica, comes after fans of the game sent sexually explicit photos to a female developer. In addition to posting obscene photos, God of War: Ragnarök is also being asked to reveal its release date.

Are you fucking kidding me with this now???
I cannot believe I even have to say this but don’t fucking send dick pics to ANYONE on this team, or anyone in this industry for that matter.
They are busting their ass to make some for you to enjoy.
Show some fucking respect. https://t.co/o0xEZkWouj
