Scarlet Nexus, which came out of the hands of the producers of the Tales of series, appeared last June. The first statements about the sequel to scarlet nexus, which has since been praised, came from Kenji Anabuki, the director of the series.
Speaking to the Inverse team about the future of scarlet Nexus, Anabuki-san signaled that the second game would appeal to a much more “mature” audience. Responding to much of the criticism about the first play, the director says that the feeling of “disconnection”, which has caused intense controversy, will be eliminated by this new method.
Anabuki did not hesitate to give hints that the “superpowers” used in the game would be used not only in battle, but also at other points. In fact, the director underlines that there will be some sequences in which we can learn the responsibility that comes with these forces.
At the same time, in the new game, it seems that the graphic design that we saw in the first game will be taken out. Although Anabuki-san says he still wants these designs to be original, he wants to create a much more satisfying experience for the players. We’ll have to wait and see how that happens…
