Developer Rare Sea of Thieves has sold more than five million copies on Steam. To celebrate this milestone, the team will give free testimony to anyone who enters the game by December 29, called All Together Now.
For this sales figure, the team reported:
“Sea of Thieves debuted for PC as well as Xbox. It’s the first game we’ve developed, so it’s important for us. We released Sea of Thieves on Steam in June last year. We are absolutely delighted to see such a huge influx of pirates.”
Explore a vast open world of untouched islands, shipwrecks and mysterious artifacts. Take on missions to search for lost treasures, go after cursed Skeleton Captains, or collect valuable cargo for Trading Companies. Go hunting and fishing or choose from hundreds of optional targets and side missions.
