Yoko Taro, creator of the Nier series, came up with a surprise game last year and released voice of cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. The reviews of the game, which was released on October 28, 2021, were pretty good, and steam still has very positive reviews.
It’s not even four months since the game’s release, but the sequel, Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden, has been announced. This is not an expansion pack or DLC, it is a sequel as we know it. And the release date is February 17th, just 10 days later.
Yoko Taro is once again the creative director of the play, produced by Yosuke Saito and music by Keiichi Okabe. Both men worked in Nier games, and Okabe won numerous awards this year for his nier replicant music.
