Sega had a bit of a mess with the Sonic Origins announcement, but the steps he took afterwards are far from improving the situation.
In that horrible DLC table sega published, we saw that even extremely simple things like “character animations on the main menu” were put behind DLC;s. What’s more, when you say different versions, bonuses that can’t be obtained except for pre-order, it’s a mess. You can find the details of this story in our previous story . Devolver Digital didn’t even miss the opportunity, mocking the painting by saying the ad wouldn’t be bad.
Now we know that games within Sonic Origins will be removed from digital sale ahead of the Sonic Origins release. Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic &knuckles and Sonic CD will not be available to purchase separately from May 20.
It’s not nice for Sega to go down the path of restricting players in this way. They think such a move would boost Sales of Sonic Origins, but the backlash so far has been pretty negative. There’s a chance they’re encouraging players to buy old games one by one.
Sonic Origins; cheapest price is $429. However, the Steam prices for the Sonic game, which will be removed from sale, are only 10 TL each. So if you’re interested in these games, I say hurry up and get it cheap.
Sonic Origins will be released on June 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.
