SEGA has announced that it wants to adapt the Persona series developed by Atlus to TV. The company has stated that it wants to explore other mediums beyond games and adapt franchises like Persona to TV.
SEGA wants to include some game series in the series and film sector besides Persona. Among the series he wants to include Atlus games such as Shin Megami Tensei and Catherine, which we mentioned at the beginning (Persona).
SEGA’s request follows the successful series adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog films. Released in April, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was a huge success for both SEGA and Paramount. Accordingly, the film earned more than $ 375 million worldwide.
Persona 5 Royal, on the other hand, will be released on October 21 for PC on PlayStation 5 and Steam, as well as Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC versions. In addition, Persona 4 Golden will come to Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2023. Persona 3 Portable will debut on PlayStation 4 and PC.
