Rumours that Hogwarts Legacy had been postponed until 2023 were denied, saying the game’s development was progressing very well and would be released later this year as planned. Now we have a clearer date target thanks to the drawing book coming out later this year.
“The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy” will be published by Insight Editions on September 6, 2022. It doesn’t make sense that this book “making of” will be released months before the game, it is likely that the game will be close to its release date. This narrows the planned release date for Hogwarts Legacy to September.
Already in the Harry Potter series, students were returning to Hogwarts on 1 September, which can be noted as another detail that makes sense of the possible release date.
A new trailer for the game is expected to be released no later than next month.
