Publisher Digerati and developer Greylock Studio have announced that the first-person shooter Severed Steel will debut for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on July 20, Switch on July 21, and Xbox Series and Xbox One on July 22. Merge Games will also release a physical version of the game this summer.
Severed Steel was first released for PC on September 17, 2021 via Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG, and the Humble Store.
The console versions of the game, Campaign, Firefight, and New Game+ modes will offer players 42 levels, 27 types of weapons, and all the basic gameplay content currently available in the PC version.
The section editor included in the PC version will not be included in the console versions. However, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, various user-generated content will be included in the game. This content will include only the highlights.
