Silent Hill sequel rumors have once again been denied. The idea of Abandoned, announced in April 2021, as Silent Hill caused a lot of trouble for the production company Blue Box. A similar incident occurred last month, this time through the Bloober Team studio, the maker of Layers of Fear.
The rumours began after the Bloober Team announced the signing of a deal with Konami for a “strategic partnership.” The allegations were that the firm had three unexplained horror games, including codenamed H20, that would be the new Silent Hill game.
Silent Hill sequel mistaken for Layers of Fear 2
Tomasz Gawlikowski, Bloober Team’s chief advertising officer, denied the allegations, saying the H20 project was “not such an exciting detail .” Tomasz said the codename was used for Layers of Fear 2, which has already been released.
Gawlikowski said the studio is currently working on two different games, one of which has already gone into production, but the other has not even reached that stage yet. Gawlikowski said neither project had anything to do with the recent rumors.
