League of Geeks, developer of Armello and Solium Infernum games, has announced Jumplight Odyssey, a roguelite simulation management game inspired by the classic sci-fi anime of the 70s, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
The game will initially be released as Early Access for PC on Steam with language support in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
Anime-themed management game
Jumplight Odyssey blends many structures in it. Trent Kusters, co-founder and director of this anime-themed production, says, “Jumplight Odyssey combines the style of the iconic sci-fi anime with elements of roguelite and simulation. In this game, which tries to offer you a challenging experience, all management tools are given to your management. We want something for everyone in Jumplight Odyssey and want you to try out the game throughout the Early Access process. This production will be released in 2023”
In the game, we, as players, will be able to recruit survivors into our team, repair or build our starship, challenge black holes and fend off attacks. While doing all this, we will come across a colorful anime cast.
