Following accusations of harassment against Activision-Blizzard, World Of Warcraft players reacted by holding an in-game sit-in. Following the accusations of sexual discrimination and harassment announced by Bloomberg in the early hours of the morning on July 22nd — according to Turkey — the Blizzard community is very active. From the confessions of employees claiming to be former Blizzard employees to the “leaking” of internal correspondence by company executives on the subject, the gaming world is closely following.

World Of Warcraft Players Take Action in Oribos

Following the allegations, a roleplay guild called Fence Macabre – a guild that plays on both Alliance and Horde sides on two different servers – called on the players to take part in a sit-in in Oribos,the capital of shadowlands. They also said the action would be made to support a campaign called Black Girls Code. Black Girls Code is a support programaimed at providing free education about digital technology and programming to girls between the ages of 7 and 17.
