Bethesda released its patch, which solves the black screen problem in the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, but this patch also caused most players’ modes to stop working.
The black screen problem is caused by the Skyrim Script Extender. After update 1.6, the script was inserted and left on the black screen due to the fact that SSCE was running faster than usual, resulting in some modes not having the opportunity to upload their files. However, the solution to this problem has also disrupted some modes.
Skyrim Anniversary Edition and Skyrim Special Edition are actually almost the same thing, the only difference with anniversary edition is that it also includes Creation Club content. So, when you actually come to Anniversary Edition, it’s applied to Special Edition. Even if you don’t own anniversary edition, these updates directly affect the game you’re playing.
This published feed patch caused the Skyrim Script Extender to be incompatible, meaning that now skse will need to be updated. If your Steam has not automatically updated Skyrim, you’d better wait a while, and if it has, you can use the following mode,which returns skyrim special edition to version 1.5.97.
