As you know, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim made an impact on the game market and became one of the popular games in a short time. Although it has been more than 10 years since its publication, it still seems that it has not lost its popularity. In the face of this situation, the developers confirmed with the trailer of Skyrim: Cyrodiil mode, where they are working on a project to expand Skyrim far beyond the Nords realm.
Skyrim: Cyrodiil mode may surprise players
Skyrim: The released trailer of the Cyrodiil mode introduces fans to Beyond Skyrim’s refreshing of the city. Skyrim: Located on the road west of Imperial City in Cyrodiil mode and protected by high walls and a castle rising from the mountain above, the town of Skingrad is plagued by a series of mysterious murders that the rulers cannot stop despite the attempts of the locals to belittle it.
The city’s rulers see the culprit for these murders as Count Janus Hassildor, who rules Skingrad in the story of the Oblivion mode. One character even describes Hasslidor as a vampire who wants to take revenge on the city he rules. Another character states that one of Hassildor’s rulers wrote a defense against Janus’ rule many years ago, but he died before his work was published. Count Janus appears as a minor character in Oblivion’s main mission sequence, but Oblivion seems to surprise us.
Skingrad was also home to several of Oblivion’s more memorable NPCs. Among the inhabitants of the city were an alcoholic blacksmith, a paranoid tree elf, and a black elf alchemist with an unhealthy obsession with corpses. As Beyond Skyrim takes place 200 years later, some fans are wondering if there are any references to the city’s former residents. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t specify when the full version of Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil will be released. It’s also unclear if the Skingrad region will get an early release like 2017’s Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, but the team seems to be making progress.
