Slay the Spire, one of the best rogue-like games in recent history, is available with a free “Downfall” supplement. This additional package, which will be given free of charge to anyone who owns the game on Steam, is based on a mode of the same name. Downfall, one of the game’s most popular modes, will thus reward its creator and increase the excitement of the game.
Downfall actually adds a fifth character to the game. But the main highlight of the mode is that we can take on the role of the main villains. So we play the game using villains like Slime Boss or Hexaghost and their features. Besides, our goal is not to get to the top, but to go down from the top.
Of course, this also changes the mechanics of the game quite a bit. Although the Downfall update is free, as we mentioned above, you need to have base Slay the Spire. This free additional package is added to your library as a different game, let’s note this as well.
