Call of Duty developer Sledgehammer Games has opened a new studio in Guildford.
The new UK office will work with teams in San Francisco, Melbourne and Toronto for Call of Duty: Vanguard and future projects.
Sledgehammer COO Andy Wilson said of the new studio: “I’m really excited to bring our studio brand to the UK. In a place where there are many brands, it is another opportunity to do our own small role to grow the industry.”
“As we have done in our other locations, we will try to establish partnerships with schools and universities to help nurture the next generation of talent.”
