Our blue hedgehog friend Sonic the Hedgehog is getting old. Sonic, who is older than many of our young gamers, celebrated his 30th birthday at the Sonic Central event by Sega. While the event wasn’t very enlightening, Sega at least confirmed her previously rumored Sonic Colours remaster and retro Sonic collection.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate
Sonic Colors was previously released for the Nintendo DS and Switch. Sonic Colours: Ultimate , a remake with some additions, is coming later this year. The game | PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X It will be released in sections for the S and Nintendo Switch. She’s coming out this summer.
Retro Sonic Collection
Sonic’s new retro compilation for “new platforms” will include Sonic Origins and Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and 3, Sonic &knuckles and Sonic CD. Sega says it expects “additional content and features” that include more information to share later this year.
Sega also made a series of small-scale announcements during its 30th anniversary live broadcast. Added free Sonic-themed cosmetics for Two Point Hospital, plus a Sonic: The Fighters arcade locker in the Yakuza spin-off Lost.
