The gross of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, an American-Japanese co-production fantasy science fiction action adventure film published by Sega and based on the game series and character of the same name, has been announced.
The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie was a huge success for both SEGA and Paramount. Accordingly, the film earned more than $ 375 million worldwide. The original Sonic the Hedgehog film (the first film) grossed $306 million worldwide. This reveals that the sequel earned more than $ 55 million from the previous film.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 earned $181 million in the United States and $194 million worldwide.
Sonic fan site Sonic Stadium, on the other hand, suggests that the film’s total global earnings will reach $390 million.
