Sony has acquired Dutch-based Nixxes Software, which makes PC ports and optimizations for games such as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the new Tomb Raider trilogy and Marvel’s Avengers. Hermen Hulst, the head of Playstation, announced on his Twitter account today that they are adding Nixxes Software to their ranks. With this announcement, Nixxes Software became another company under the roof of Playstation Studios.

In a statement, Hulst said on Twitter:“I am excited to announce the participation of Dutch studio Nixxes Software in Playstation Studios. It’s a pleasure to welcome such a team of experts and tremendous experience on Playstation. Congratulations to everyone Nixxes Software!”
Playstation recently released Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, which are exclusive to pc playstation. Rumours include Uncharted 4, God of War and Ghost of Tsushima coming to PC. Of course, there’s still nothing explained by Sony about it. It looks like playstation will continue to release games to the PC and will move this port event through its new studio.
Although the release of Sony games to PC has angered some Playstation lovers, PC gamers must be happy with this situation. Prior to that, Sony had acquired housemarque studio, the studio that made Returnal for the Playstation 5. Details of that story can be found here.
