Sony has announced the acquisition of Seattle-based developer Valkyrie Entertainment.
“The studio will make a significant contribution to the PlayStation Studios series,” PlayStation Studios president Hermen Hulst said on Twitter.
Founded in 2002, Valkyrie Entertainment primarily worked as a support studio.
The studio also worked on several other high-profile games, including the top five Forza Motorspot games, Halo Infinite for Microsoft, Batman: Arkham Origins for Warner Bros. Interactive, Injustice 2, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
Valkyrie’s first game was Guns Up, a tactical game that debuted for PS4 in 2015.
