Technology and gaming giant Sony Interactive Entertainment announced at an event in Chengdu (the capital of China’s Sichuan province) on Tuesday that it will expand its China Hero Project game program. The China Hero project will present new games from Chinese developers to players.
More than 10 games are included in the project
With this project, which was launched by Sony and based on games from Chinese developers, new games will be released worldwide by Sony. A total of 17 games were supported in the first phase of this phase, including Animal Force, ANNO: Mutationem, F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, Hardcore Mecha, Immortal Legacy, In Nightmare and The Walker. The project is currently in its third phase and more than 10 new games are being developed.
Within the scope of the project in the third phase, some games will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and supported by PlayStation Studios. Sony also announced the creation of a team called China Game Production to oversee Chinese-made games (quality control, etc.).
On the other hand, Sony recently announced that it will release Lost Soul Aside and Convallaria games, which are the first and second stages of the China Hero Project, worldwide.
