Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firewalk Studios have announced partnerships for a brand new AAA multiplayer game.
It will be broadcast by Sony Interactive Entertainment and will be developed by Firewalk Studios of ProbablyMonsters. They’ve been working together for two years.
The release date and details of the game have not yet been announced.
Firewalk Studios was founded in 2018 and consists of experienced developers who previously worked on Halo with Destiny. Studio boss Tony Hsu (formerly destiny’s managing director and senior vice president at Activision) and executive producer Elena Siegman (formerly at Harmonix, Irrational Games and Bungie).
According to the report, Firewalk Studios will focus on providing a rich multiplayer gaming experience with great gameplay foundations and inspiring art designs with this experience and expertise.
PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst said, “ProbablyMonsters has assembled a remarkable team of industry veterans, and the original multiplayer game they developed will be an exciting addition to our portfolio. We are committed to providing a wide range of gaming experiences on our platform.”
