The two sides of the world didn’t come together after Sony started building a new Marvel Universe. The studio, which wants to include Morbius in the universe in the new era that began with the film Venom, has not been able to release the film for a long time. So much so that after the morbius film was postponed several times in 2021, it was moved to January 28, 2022and a final decision was made. However, Sony has changed its mind again and we will not be able to see the film this month. Morbius’ film is currently released on April 1st and this is no joke…
We’ve seen a few trailers, some scenes before the movie. It was even recently reported that the film was 108 minutes long. When Venom’s sequel, Let There Be Carnage, fails again on a critic’s basis, this time the postponement for Morbius may be more of an attempt to make Venom 2 forget than pandemic. I doubt we’ll see the Marvel vampire movie starring Jared Leto on April 1, if it really exists. Let’s see when we write the next Morbius reprieve.
