We’ll see a lot more of South Park, perhaps the best content in the world, in the near future when it comes to adult cartoons. Following the deal with Paramount, new seasons, as well as 14 South Park films, will be released on Paramount+. The next South Park movie is about great. With The Streaming Wars, we’ll see our fun team in streaming service battles. Considering what you’ve done with Xbox vs PlayStation before, the potential for entertainment seems to be endless.
And it’s not the only good news story about the movie. South Park: The Streaming Wars will be released on June 1! “With South Park Streaming Wars, Cartman and his mother will embark on an epic struggle. The resulting conflict threatens South Park’s own existence!” in a short video from the new film. In the video we see Eric Cartman as usual, we’ll probably encounter parodies of streaming services like Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Paramount+.
Paramount+, which has acquired the rights to South Park for about $900 million in recent years, is actually giving the brand its due. Meanwhile, a new sequel to The Fractured But Whole is also underway. We will probably see these streaming service battles as at least a side mission in the new game.
