Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3 will debut for the Switch on September 9.
In Splatoon 3, players will leave Inkopolis and head for a new territory, Splatlands. This area is home to a new city called Splatsville, known as the city of chaos, where war-loving Inklings and Octolings gather. The sequel will include new weapons, maps, customizations, movements, abilities and more.
The first game in the Splatoon series debuted for wii U in May 2015 and the second for Switch in July 2017.
